THE SCHOOL
Seventh-day Adventist Higher Secondary School is not a mere institution-it is a movement. The school made a modest beginning in the year 1979 with only 18 students and 02 teachers. As the school was gaining popularity for its quality education, the enrollment grew exponentially every year. In view of this, it became imperative to look for a larger place to accommodate the increasing number of enrollment. Hence, the present school located at 132 Ft. Ring Road, Haripura, Maninagar (E), Ahmedabad was built and we have entered the new portal of learning in 2003. Since then the growth of the school in all aspects has been growing by leaps and bounds. The present enrollment of the school is around 11,000 students and 566 staff and faculty. All glory to God for His guidance and blessings.
The new school building is housed in a sprawling campus of 3 acres of land. The school has three multi-storey buildings named as Alpha, Shalom & Omega. Alpha is a four-storey building having 72 classrooms; Shalom is a four storey building with Shalom Hall on the fifth floor; Omega is a five storey building with 43 classrooms. They are specially designed and are sheer architectural beauties. The school campus is a perfect setting and provides an ideal environment for the Physical, Mental, Social, Emotional and Spiritual development of our students. We provide right opportunities and ideal environments for the harmonious development of their personalities. We endeavor to instill in the students the sense of responsibility and initiative to become useful members of Society that can play a very important role in the process of nation building.
The school has achieved an enviable reputation in the field of academics as well as extra-curricular activities. It is without doubt one of the top schools in Ahmedabad. We have always maintained a standard of un-impeachable integrity and has made sure that each and every boy and girl that passes through its doors faces the outside world with a sound character.

Our Validity
Seventh-Day Adventist Higher Secondary School, Maninagar, Ahmedabad is co-educational and English Medium School having classes from Nursery to XII. The school is conducted by the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist organization having its headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA. The worldwide SDA organization operates 7,804 Schools, Colleges and Universitities with 84,997 teachers and 1,673,828 students operating in over 100 countries around the world. We are proud to be part of this large network of quality educational institutions and we strive to continue the tradition of academic excellence.
Accreditation
The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi, in the year 1990. The Council was established by the University of Cambridge, Local Examinations Syndicate with the assistance of the Inter-State Board for Anglo-Indian Education in 1958. It is registered under the Societies Act No. XXI of 1860, S.No. 267 of 1972.
The Council has been so constituted to secure suitable representation of Government responsible for affiliated schools in their states/Territories/Inter-State Board for Anglo-Indian Schools, the Indian Universities, the Association of Heads of Anglo-Indian Public Schools’ Conference, the Association of Schools for the ISC Examinations and eminent educationists.
The Govt. of India accorded recognition to the Council as a separate body conducting public examinations under Delhi Education Act, 1973, passed by Parliament in chapter 1 under definitions Section 2 (s). The certificates issued by the Council are recognized by all the Education Boards in the country and by most of the Universities overseas.
The ISC curriculum is known for the Higher Academic Standards. The students of ICSE (X) and ISC (XII) appear for the Board Exams conducted by the Council in the month of March every year. The ISC Board is internationally reputed and known for its quality education.
According to a survey conducted by NCERT, Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi outperforms all other Boards in the country. Students who study in CISCE affiliated schools achieved top honors as per the findings of the survey.
Gujarat Board
The same Trust also has Higher Secondary Science Stream recognized by the Govt. of Gujarat. In view of this, the students can choose the Board of their choice.
Board Exam Results
The school has earned a land mark of excellence in the field of education by showing outstanding Board results. Every year our students secure 90-100% results in ICSE (X) and ISC (XII) Board Exams. A heartening number of our students have secured distinctions and first class results. Over 90% of our Alumni have done us proud and are now placed in prestigious institutions here in Gujarat, India and abroad like USA, Australia, Europe, etc. Many have secured admission into the reputed professional courses in India and abroad.
